After booking, I'll send a questionnaire to learn about your little one and what you're envisioning.
For cake smashes, we'll choose the colors, set, outfits, and cake together. Send inspiration or simply give me a few ideas and let me take it from there.
For milestone sessions, we'll keep the styling simple and focused on your baby.
Plan Your Session
There is no expectation for your baby to perform. They don't have to sit perfectly, smile on command, or happily eat an entire cake.
We'll follow their lead, take breaks when needed, and give them time to warm up to the studio. I'll guide you throughout the session and use plenty of tricks to bring out those real smiles and expressions.
The goal isn't perfection. It's capturing your little one exactly as they are in this season.
Relax and Let Them Be Little
For first birthdays, I recommend reserving your cake smash session 6–8 weeks in advance so we have plenty of time to plan your custom set.
If you'd like the images back before your baby's birthday or party, we'll schedule the session several weeks beforehand.
Milestone sessions can be photographed throughout baby's first year, with 6–10 months being one of my favorite stages — sitting, smiling, grabbing toes, and showing off so much personality.
When should you book?
The cake is fun, but your gallery doesn't have to be only cake-smash photos.
We’ll start with clean portraits before the cake comes out, giving us a chance to capture their smiles, expressions, and personality. Then we'll bring out the cake and let your little one take the lead — whether they delicately taste the frosting or dive straight in.
No expectations and no pressure. Some babies love the cake. Some want absolutely nothing to do with it. Either way, we'll create images that feel like them.
