Every session is fully styled in my Evans studio so you don’t have to plan a thing. From the set design to the cake and wardrobe, everything is prepared ahead of time so you can simply arrive and enjoy celebrating your baby’s first birthday.

The Experience

A Fully Styled First Birthday Session

Cake smash sessions are typically scheduled when your baby is 10–11 months old, allowing time to use the images for birthday invitations or celebrations.

Because each session is custom styled, booking a few months in advance is recommended to ensure availability.

When Should You Book a Cake Smash?

Most families book their cake smash session a few months before their baby’s first birthday to ensure time for planning and styling.

Together we’ll choose a theme or color palette for your baby’s session. I design the set, coordinate the styling, and prepare the cake and wardrobe.

I Plan the Details

On the day of your session, everything is ready when you arrive. We begin with a few clean portraits before introducing the cake and letting your baby explore, play, and smash.
