Bradley Schools for Nurturing & Effective Children’s Education

filed in

Finding the perfect school for your little one can be challenging, especially if it is their first time away from mom and dad. Bradley Schools is genuinely one of the best schools in Georgia. It is guaranteed that you will absolutely love all that they have to offer.

About Bradley Schools

The original Bradley School was Wheeler Pines, founded in 1985, and now there are a total of three Bradley Schools that are ready to welcome you and your family. This educational environment believes every child is special, a unique miracle of mind, body, and spirit. Its mission is to create a culture of caring that supports individual creativity, instills life-long learning, and promotes confidence in young learners. Bradley Schools aims to provide a nurturing environment similar to home. This comforting atmosphere encourages your little ones to develop independence, self-awareness, an appreciation for diversity, and compassion for others. They believe children learn best through play, which is why they provide fun-filled educational environments that inspire children to learn and grow each and every day.

The 3 Bradley Schools Locations

Bradley Schools serve the Augusta and Evans area from Grovetown to Aiken and offer quality-rated after-school and preschool child care and early learning for children from six weeks and up. Bradley Schools have three locations throughout the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). Wheeler Pines Preschool, Oakbrook Country Day School, and The Greenbrier Preschool are all run by Bradley Schools. Each program employs a full-time Director and staff, many of whom have been with Bradley Schools since its opening in 1985. Together, the three centers serve a combined total of over 500 children annually.

Programs & Classrooms

Bradley Schools offers programs to meet all your schooling needs from six weeks and up. Infant rooms include babies six weeks to one year of age. The children learn developmental skills, including rolling, crawling, walking, self-feeding, and self-help. They strongly encourage learning through play, especially floor time with all of the children. Each schedule is individualized to your little one and their specific needs. Their goal is to develop strong bonds between the teachers and children, and the ratio is 1 to 4.

The Bradley Schools toddler program consists of children one to three years of age. Within the toddler program, they strive to promote the basis of learning through play. Children in these classrooms will begin forming bonds between friends and teachers. The ratio is 1 to 6.

The preschool classrooms consist of three to four-year-olds. In these rooms, you will find preschoolers continue to learn through play and have more organized learning with circle time, small group activities, and large group activities. The ratios are 1 to 12. Georgia Pre-K is an introduction to your child’s first real school experience. The hours are from 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM, with a ratio of 2 to 22.

Extra-Curricular & Summer Activities

In addition to offering preschool care and school-age before and after care programs, Bradley Schools provide stimulating extra-curricular activities. There are a variety of activities, including field trips and enrichment classes such as music, soccer, and ballet. Pre-K extended care is offered from the hours of 6:00 AM to 8:15 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. School-age extended care is provided from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, including transportation to and from school. The schools are open regularly from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, all year long.

Don’t worry about the summer for a second! Bradley Schools offers field trips and special activities for kindergarteners through fifth graders. Your kids will enjoy large group activities, outside time, arts and crafts, and science experiments. Each week your child will engage in water play, aka “Splash Day!” Summer Camp hours are offered from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. They have everything you need, from daily school to fun activities, field trips, and summer camps! The best part is learning from the most caring teachers who treat your little one just like their own.
