Samantha Toppings started this wonderful business almost ten years ago and is proud to call the CSRA her home to share her small business with now! When did you start Delightful Toppings? What inspired the start of your small business?

Delightful Toppings began in 2014 while I was pregnant and not able to teach due to complications. I have always found peace when baking cookies, cakes, cupcakes and much more. We then moved to Germany and I enjoyed baking so much that I made it my full time occupation. Baking in Europe gave me insight into how to measure with grams so every product that leaves my kitchen is the same quality you come to expect. I also learned about the many benefits of baking with clean European flour which I still have imported into my kitchen to this day! I find so much fulfillment in being creative and the joy I see on my clients faces when they see their vision come to life in cake or cookies! I did keep up my teaching credentials and now support the local area by substituting when I am not baking.

How long have you been a business? Who do you serve?

We have been in business here in Evans, since August of 2022, but Delightful Toppings has been in around for 8 years in 2 countries and 4 states! (Thanks to the US military!) We serve anyone with a sweet tooth! We support the entire CSRA. We currently do not have an online store.

What does it look like to work with you? How can we shop with you or support your small business? 

Typically clients find us through word of mouth, Facebook, and Google. Once you message me through the business page with a theme and date for your event, I ask for details such as flavors, approx number of servings needed, and any inspiration pictures you have. I then work out a sketch and quote for my clients to approve. Once I have the go ahead my clients can sit back and relax knowing that I have their treats handled. Delivery is the best part of my job. Seeing someone’s eyes light up with I lift the lid off of their cake or cookies is the best feeling in the world! I am so thankful to have so many incredible clients that I have worked with through Delightful Toppings.
