Lindsay became a certified birth doula in 2018 and has had the honor of serving many families through home and hospital births. Through her rough experiences with her first three children and hospital births, it reassured her that she needed to become a doula so other mothers would not have a bad experience also.
Lindsay offers a wide variety of services as a doula: labor support, photography, postpartum support, childbirth education, lactation support, relaxation-based pain relief as well as herbal support.
The main focus of Graceful Beginnings Birth is the labor support. Lindsay will meet with you and your spouse to discuss all the details about what you want for your upcoming birth. When it comes time for the delivery, she is there every step of the way. From emotional support to helping with pain relief, she will guide you to achieve the birth of your dreams. Lindsay will be hands on to support you but will also allow family to support as you like. Once baby has arrived, Lindsay will also stay to support you and baby as you start out your breastfeeding journey.
After initial birth, Lindsay can always be scheduled for additional lactation support as well as many other types of support.
