She has many years of experience with VBAC’s and high-risk pregnancy so she is able to better assist all of her pregnant moms.

When you hire Katrina as your doula, she will be there from the first two prenatal visits to working on your birth plan to full birth support. After birth, she will be there immediately following the 1-2 hours for postnatal support. Katrina will also be there for you at an in-home postnatal follow up visit 1-4 weeks postpartum.

Postpartum Doula

In addition to having a doula at your next birth, having a postpartum doula can also make the transition to motherhood much smoother (and less tiring!). They will be there to support you during your 4th trimester while you adjust to this precious new little baby.

Encouraging and supporting breastfeeding, helping everyone stay nourished and hydrated, running short errands, light cooking and meal prep light cleaning and helping with light household tasks are just a few tasks postpartum doulas assist with.

Stephanie, Charmaine and Katie are three postpartum doulas through Atlanta Birth Doula. Any of these three will help you create a great support system for after birth.
